From fang-tastic freebies to ghoulishly good entertainment, there’s plenty of family fun to be had at Ashford’s Halloween spooktacular event.
Visitors to the town are encouraged to dress-up and join town centre businesses at a fun Halloween celebration which will take place in Ashford Town Centre on Saturday 29th October between 1pm and 5.30pm.
Head over to the Loveashford gazebo, located next to the bandstand on the Upper High Street, to pick up an exclusive trick-or-treat bag (only available to the first 100 visitors) as well as a trick-or-treat trail; complete the trail around the town to collect free goodies and giveaways from participating businesses. There’s also a chance to sign up for a freaky fancy-dress competition with some fabulous prizes to be won.
Don’t forget to register your details to receive the Loveashford newsletter packed with details on all the latest offers, lifestyle blogs, local events and more.
There will also be the chance to see ghoulish stilt-walkers roam through County Square Shopping Centre and the High Street. Look out for the lost railway porters who will be wandering the town with their fantastic mime act throughout the day.
What’s more, Revelation St Mary’s will be hosting a programme of live music on the bandstand between 1pm and 4pm. There will also be the chance to grab some tasty treats from Janet’s Soul Food stall, take part in children’s workshops with Dreamshapes Crafts and see live performances from Ashford Arts Centre at 1.30pm in Park Mall Shopping Centre.
The Halloween event is part of Healthy High Streets, an initiative championed by Business in the Community, which is supported by Loveashford and local Ashford businesses. For more information visit Loveashford.com
