Mike Hill - Tenterden

I have represented Tenterden at Kent County Council since 2001. I have been very pleased during this time to work with Parish Councils and local Groups to tackle many of the issues which affect people’s lives.

Andrew Buchanan - Cllr for Bybrook Ward

I am 40 years old and have lived in Kent for over 10 years. I currently live in Ashford town centre, for the previous ten years I lived in Pluckley where I was on the Parish Council for a number of years and have built up quite a lot of experience in budget and housing / planning issues as well as being very active in local fundraising.

Mike Bennett - Cllr for Rolvenden and Tenterden West Ward

I am a recently retired journalist probably best known for my time as editor of the Kentish Express newspaper. I have lived in Tenterden since the late 1950’s and seen many changes over the decades. What has remained constant is my passion to keep both the town and surrounding villages special. That does mean some carefully controlled expansion to meet the needs of all.

William Howard - Cllr for Saxon Shore Ward

William has been representing the villages of Saxon Shore on Ashford Borough Council for the past five years. Before that William represented Stour Ward in the town centre for four years. This experience has led to a stronger voice for rural residents.

Cllr Graham Galpin - Stour Ward

My wife and I have lived in the Town since 1984, our son and daughter were educated locally. We have seen many changes.I believe that developing businesses, jobs and skills are a vital part of making Ashford a great place to live and work. These are essential to sustain our Borough.
