Dear Resident 

In addition to being a KCC Councillor, I am a Borough, Parish and Community Councillor. 

I will ensure that developers are required to deliver infrastructure improvements. I spoke at the planning inquiry to argue that the Chilmington Green developer provide upgrades to the A28, Chart Road. 

I have been instrumental in delivering resurfacing projects in Repton Avenue and Cemetery Lane. More funding will be provided to ensure Quantock Drive and The Pasture are a priority. 

I will ensure agencies maintain assets they are responsible for. I am working with your Councillor in Godinton to get Southern Water to repair the pond fence off Loudon Way. Southern Water has been pressured by me to start a programme of improvements at the Wastewater Treatment Works, these have started but they need to do more. 

Adequate parking is essential. I have run parking surveys in Henwood and Mill Court resulting in reduced parking by local businesses in residential areas. I have reduced the impact of parking at school pick up and drop off times – I have arranged for double yellow lines at Loudon Court. 

I will tackle irresponsible overnight parking by HGVs by working closely with local businesses to ensure there is adequate legal spaces for lorries.
